Markets (Dec)

Markets:

Biscuit Mill – (every Sat) at the shop we will always have the largest range. We will also be trying out a couple of new products, so even if you came last weekend, there will be something new and very delicious in store.

Night Market on Wed 15 December from 4pm – midnight– a chance to do your Xmas shopping and stock up on your favourites.

Stellenbosch (every Sat) no excuses for not giving this market a visit. Quality-wise it rivals the Biscuit Mill, experience-wise I think it surpasses the Biscuit Mill. The type of market you can go to with your baby or dog and not feel claustrophobic. Food is the main thrust of the market, but there is also a very nice craft and décor section.

Night Market tonight! 5pm to 10pm!

Earth Fair Market (every Wed eve & Sat) one of CT’s hidden gems...a great array of food and they have a fantastic bar that serves only organic wines and micro-brewery beer. It’s indoors as opposed to some of the other markets in the area so is always open. It’s also CT’s only weekly night market (Wed 3pm to 8pm)

Night Xmas Market 16 December.

Long Beach – the Triangle Square group have several markets in and around CT. They are all in shopping centres, indoors and normally attract a wide range of vendors. The market is every second Friday (this Friday from 10am-5pm). If you are in the area, it’s well worth a visit – a lot of your favourites with a few local stands. The link is not the greatest – if you need directions or additional info, please contact us.

Natural Goods Market at Central Park (Canal Walk) every first Sunday of the month. We’ll be trying this market out on Sunday – I had a most enjoyable brunch there last month with my family and was quite impressed with the variety of traders. A combination of crafty items and some really fantastic food – a few of your favourites and quite a few traders that I have not seen at any other markets.

Dean St Arcade – Newlands Wed (9:30am to 2:30pm) a new market that we have started to do organized by the Triangle Square (they are fast becoming a force in the market world). Based in the Woolworths centre in Dean St, a small and intimate market – only about 12 traders and they have carefully selected some of their top traders (we are quite honoured to be included) and the range of products is really top-notch. If you are in the area, a great time to fill up on your culinary delights.
